Milton Harvest Festival Parade -- Odds and Ends

I took a lot of pictures at the Milton Harvest Festival.  So here are a few snapshots to wrap things up:

Armed services
A big "Thank You!" to our troops for serving our country and participating in the parade!  The soldier on the reviewing stand salutes every flag that goes by.  The parade always has a member of the armed services on the reviewing stand to recognize the colors.  If you want to learn about flag etiquette, just watch the soldier!

Remembering the soldiers
Milton Little League is in the parade --

Little League Softball

Softball Champs!

Milton is one of the top Little League communites in the country.  At least one of Milton's Little League teams almost always makes it to the championship rounds.

Marine Corps' Toys for Tots program.
The Toys for Tots program distributes toys to kids in need every Christmas.

Nearly every community in the area sends fire trucks to the parade!  Here are a few examples!

Milton Fire Department

Check out "Yosemite Sam!"

Lewisburg Fire Department

Pottsgrove FD

A Classic from Norry

A Classic from Turbotville
On the subject of "classics," here are a few more classic cars cruising in the parade!

West Milton State Bank "Woody!"

Sweet!

A lot of crazy characters also come to the Milton Harvest Festival Parade!

Halloween is on the way!
Stage coach!

I hope we get more horses next year.  These were the only equine representatives this year.

So, there you have it.  This concludes my entries for the Milton Harvest Festival Parade.  I'm sorry it took so long to get around to it!
